Getting Ready for Meet and Greet

Starting a new school year is a big step, even for the youngest learners. That is why Meet and Greet exists.

On Wednesday, September 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., our families are invited to bring their child in to meet their teacher and see their classroom before the first day of school.

For a child, walking into a brand new room can feel big. Meeting the person who will greet them each morning, and seeing where their cubby and their seat will be, turns that unknown space into a familiar one.

For parents, it is a chance to ask questions, talk through the daily routine, and get a feel for how the classroom runs. This is also when families bring in school supplies for the year, so the actual first day can be spent on games, friends, and fun instead of paperwork.

We know that at MPUM, our teachers stay with the same classrooms year after year, so families build real relationships that last. Meet and Greet is where those relationships begin.
