The First Day of School at MPUMP

Today, our classrooms filled up again for the first day of the 2026-2027 school year.

Because Labor Day fell later this year, our first week runs Tuesday through Thursday, giving everyone a gentle start.

The day was full of games, new friends, and a few happy nerves. Our teachers spent the morning reviewing classroom routines and leading get-to-know-you activities, with plenty of outside time built in.

Ms. Dailey spent the day popping in and out of every classroom, checking in on our newest students and our returning friends alike.

For our returning students, walking back in felt like coming home. For our newest students, today was the start of something new, and we could not be prouder of how brave they were.
